Coach pitch is available to Norwood girls in grades 2 and 3.  

This league will allow the younger girls to develop fundamental skills such as throwing, catching, batting, and fielding.  Proper hitting stance and swing will be initially taught by hitting off of the T.  Girls who have mastered the fundamentals will graduate to being pitched to by a coach.  The goal is to have all of the girls hitting coach-pitched balls by the end of the season. 

This league will have one skills session each week  and two games per week Monday and Wednesday afternoons.  With a total of eight games 4 home and 4 away agiainst teams within the Norfolk County Softball League. The goal of both the skills and scrimmages will be repetition in order to instill proper technique and, of course, have fun!  

Fee includes t-shirt.  Girls should have their own appropriately sized glove.  Cleats are highly recommended.  Bats are not required, and will be provided by the league.  Please label all personal items as many children have the exact same size and color.
